Ikhaya Knowledge Integration supports organizations with the design, development, implementation and integration of learning processes, support on the job and knowledge sharing. Hereby the notion of "integration" is essential:
• Integration of concepts for learning, knowledge sharing and working
Individual knowledge workers are supported while working, knowledge sharing and learning. Knowledge components are related to relevant work, learning and knowledge sharing contexts by using views and profiles. Every solution is a mapping of the mental model of the (critical and complex) tasks of people derived from the business processes.

There are eventually 3 additional integration activities necessary:
• Integration of knowledge domains
Different knowledge domains are integrated within an organisation specific knowledge architecture. External providers of information and education deliver content to the organization in addition to the content created by the internal organization.
• Integration of methods and techniques for learning development & delivery and knowledge management
Several methods and techniques are applied and integrated, based on the identification of different actors and their roles in management and maintenance of content. Dynamic knowledge creation takes place through continuous elaboration of knowledge that is created during working, learning and communication.
• Integration of applications and tools
Existing applications and tools are integrated with customized components, within an open and flexible technical architecture. The approach for design, realization and implementation is adjusted to solutions that have immediate added value and that can easiliy be extended with functionality and content.
